Parksville is a beautiful coastal city on central Vancouver Island, with a lot to offer to visitors and residents alike. Here are some of the things that Parksville has to offer:

Parks and Trails: The city has several parks and trails for visitors to explore, including Englishman River Falls Provincial Park, Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park, and Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park.

School District 69 (Qualicum): This district serves the communities of Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose Bay, and Bowser. It operates seven elementary schools, two secondary schools, and a distributed learning program.
** This district provides French language education to students in Parksville and other communities throughout British Columbia. It operates one elementary school, École Oceanside Elementary School, which offers a French immersion program from kindergarten through grade 7 & École Ballenas Secondary School for dual track high school.

Craig Bay - a small oceanside community that includes a large 55+ strata complex, some residential neighbourhoods, and local farming.
San Pareil - a cozy neighbourhood tucked in between the resort area and Parksville proper. You can walk to Rathtrevor Beach from anywhere in this area as there is a footpath from Shoreline Rd into the campground and walking trails.
Parksville - Anything from high density rentals, to beach front homes, to pockets of residential neighbourhoods. Most of the shops, services, and health centre fall in this area.
Errington / Coombs - homes with small and large acreages. Real estate is varied in these areas. Lots of access to trails and nature.
French Creek & Columbia Beach - a couple of tidy residential neighbourhoods named based on their proximity to a body of water. Columbia beach is known for kite surfing access.
